Electrofishing and Analysis

Electrofishing is also a great means to remove undesired or over abundant fish. Some of its uses involve removal of stunted bass, competitive species such as crappie, and trash fish such as common carp, suckers, etc. Many of our customers use this service to remove bass because this is superior to fishing them out. When fishing your are removing the more genetically aggressive bass leaving behind bass that are more difficult to catch.

A full lake audit includes water quality analysis,  weed and algae identification, fish habitat evaluation, and electrofishing.

Before stocking an existing lake we suggest a fish population analysis. This will determine which species may need to be stocked to get the lake back in "balance." We can recommend proper stocking ratios and species according to your pond's goals.
