Similar to the weighted tubing we have offered in the past, this tubing remains on the bottom even when filled with air. No weights required. Airmax ProAir self weighted tubing has been manufactured to our specifications making it more flexible, durable and safer. It is now guaranteed not to kink, highly puncture resistant and lead free. All aeration kits are shipped with ProAir standard tubing. When the distance between compressor and any one diffuser is greater than 300 feet, larger tubing is required.

Non weighted tubing is kink resistant and still fairly flexible. No weighted tubing can be buried underground and is generally used when placing your compressor away from the shore. Weights are required when used underwater. Requires 5 lbs for every 6-8 feet to sink.
